Coaches vs. Cancer day "2"

There were some real surprises yesterday in Coaches vs. Cancer Day "1" (first round, since several pool games were the day before).

First off, Vianney got hot against a good Kirkwood team and nearly upset them.  The other real shockers were Troy hanging with a great McCluer North team until four minutes left in the game and Lafayette holding down Marquette until losing by 3 in the waning minutes of their rivalry first round game.

This tournament is turning my power ratings upside down.  Here's today's picks, with reservations....

Webster over Lift for Life by 22

Mehville over Kirkwood by 1 (even though the spread is a point the other way)

McCluer North over Eureka by 10 (although if Eureka can break the Comet press like the Trojans did, this is a barn burner)

Marquette over De Smet by 5

In consolation play, I expect:

Lindbergh to get past Vianney by 1

Lafayette to beat Ritenour by 10

The only game I missed this tournament was Parkway West's win over LFL.  I hope I am wrong on several games today.
