In class 5, Chaminade, Rock Bridge and Webster Groves were predictable winners. The big surprise was Liberty winning over Rockhurst in a big upset. The Statesmen proved how good they are and showed how Fort Zumwalt South is mediocre "ranked" team with a soft schedule. Look for Webster to play either Chaminade or Rock Bridge in the final, with the Chaminade - Rock Bridge game being a push game.
Class 4 is a tossup with Sikeston, a surprise victor over St. Mary's, and Grandview, being the co-favorites in this class. The Jennings and Raytown South are a toss-up too but either Grandview or Sikeston should be the class 4 champ.
Hogan Prep was the season long favorite and edged a surprisingly strong Charlestown for the class 3 title.
Van Far eked by a good Hayti team for class 2 and Eminence, at 31-1 pushed past a strong Walnut Grove for the class 1 championship.
